A funny thing happened on the way to collecting my most prized Butterprint Cinderella bowl set...
...more bowls found their way into my house -- many of them via my lovely friend Bev who loves to scour thrift stores more than I do -- and at first I thought they were random.
The Daisy Cinderella bowl set completed itself first.
And then one day I found a red 402 at Value Village, so I gathered up what I thought was a bunch of random 400 series mixing bowls from various cupboards, and this is what I found...
...and these!
All along I thought those mismatched green bowls were part of other sets that I just hadn't identified yet. I had no idea they were an entire set themselves!
Don't even ask me where all this Butterfly Gold came from! It's not my favorite pattern and yet here it is...complete.
Some of these sets will find new homes either by sale or trade or as gifts. (and if you have ANY Butterprint lying around and want to make a trade, email me!) But for now I'm going to admire them and take turns putting them all to work in my kitchen.

I do the same thing! Butterprint is my favorite pattern too but I seem to accidentally collect other patterns while trying to find my missing Butterprint pieces as well. How could you possibly not pick up a piece in great condition at a thrift store? I know I definitely can't leave them behind. Love the daisy set you accidentally completed!
ReplyDeleteYou've been busy collecting up! Great sets you have there. Doesn't it feel great to finish a set off?
ReplyDeleteWow! Great collections and I love how them came together so randomly.
ReplyDeleteWHAT LUCK! Thats like with my sandalwood set of cinderella bowls (the "Good China" of the Pyrex at our house) I got the 444, 443, 442 at a flea market for $18 and then the girlfriend and I drove 60 miles and stopped on a whim only to find the 441! quite possibly the FASTEST set i've ever completed. :)
ReplyDeleteHey Sandra! I have some extra butterprint and need some of your pieces! Here is my trade album.
